Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which Creators ("you") may be eligible for a refund for Subscription Plans purchased directly from Playto. This policy does not govern refunds between Creators and their Members; Creators are responsible for their own refund policies for their Members as stated in our Terms of Service.
You may cancel your Playto Subscription (as defined in our Terms of Service) by either writing to us at support@playto.so or through your account settings on the Platform.
1. General Subscription Fees:
For any Subscription Fees (which may include one-time setup fees, if applicable, or fees for specific premium features as detailed on our Pricing Page) already paid by you to Playto, these are generally non-refundable once the service period has begun or the feature has been accessed, except as explicitly stated below.
2. Recurring Subscription Plan Refunds:
If you have subscribed to any of our Playto Subscription Plans that require you to pay a recurring Fee (e.g., monthly or annually, as stated on our Pricing Page), you may be entitled to a full refund (subject to applicable taxes and any non-refundable transaction processing fees charged by payment gateways) of the most recent recurring Fee only, provided that your cancellation request is made within 7 (seven) days from the date of the most recent purchase or renewal of that specific Subscription Plan (“Refund Period”).
To request a refund under this clause, you must contact us at support@playto.so or initiate the cancellation through your account settings within the Refund Period.
Please note that any cancellation requests received after the 7-day Refund Period for a recurring Subscription Plan shall not entitle you to a refund of that recurring Fee.
3. Important Considerations:
Please carefully read our Terms of Service, this Refund Policy, and any other documents made available on the Platform before purchasing any of our Subscription Plans or paid Services.
The 5% platform commission charged by Playto on revenue earned by Creators, as detailed in our Terms of Service and Pricing Page, is a transaction-based fee for services rendered and is not subject to this refund policy once the transaction has been processed.
4. Effect of Cancellation:
When you cancel your Playto Subscription Plan, Playto may disable access to features and functionalities that are available only to Creators who have an active paid Subscription. Your account and publicly accessible content may continue to exist on the Platform under the terms applicable to free or basic tier accounts, unless you choose to delete your account entirely.

- Clarity on Scope: Added a line at the beginning to emphasize this policy is for Playto's subscriptions to Creators, not Creator-to-Member refunds.

- Terminology: Changed "Fee (including the onboarding fee as stated in the Pricing Page)" to a more general "Subscription Fees (which may include one-time setup fees, if applicable)" to give Playto flexibility if they don't call it an "onboarding fee."
- Recurring Fee Refund: Kept the 7-day window as it's common. Added a note about potential non-refundable payment gateway fees.
- Commission: Explicitly mentioned that the 5% platform commission is not covered by this refund policy, as it's a fee for services rendered on transactions. This is important for clarity, given your primary announced model.
- Effect of Cancellation: Clarified that the account may continue under a free/basic tier.
This version should align better with Playto potentially having both commission-based revenue and optional paid subscription tiers for Creators.
